Individual / Group Chats

Starting an Individual Chat

1. From the Chats screen, tap the icon located on the top right corner of the screen.
2. If your contacts are already on Tokee, you will see them under the text: “Contacts on Tokee” and if you have no contacts on Tokee, you can tap the share icon to send them a link to have them download Tokee from their devices respective app store.

3. Once your friend is on Tokee, tap the user you wish to chat with and you will be immediately sent to the chatroom where you can start chatting with your friend!

Group Chats

1. From the Chats screen, tap New Group written out on the top left of the screen.
2. Add the friends you wish to chat with.
3. Make sure you put the Group Type to Private. Otherwise, anyone in the world that is using Tokee will be able to search your group chat name and join.
4. Once you finish filling out the group chat details, tap Create Group on the top right of the screen.
5. Upon tapping create group, you will be immediately taken to the group chatroom.
